Due to our political work, the Council of Canadians is not a registered charity. We are unable to provide charitable receipts for donations.
Support Your Local Chapter:
For every new member in our area who joins the Council of Canadians, the local chapter receives a one-time, remittance to support our local Chapter. In a small town like Terrace, this is a limited and finite resource because there are only so many people in the area to become members. The local chapter undertakes a wide variety of public events, information sessions and advocacy activities which are only partially funded by national contributions. In addition to your donation to the National organization, won’t you consider making a contribution to the local Chapter so that we may continue to serve as your agent in the promotion of social justice in Terrace and area.
